My life partner, the brilliant Michael [von] Braithwaite has asked me to cover her blog spot on Monday, so I won't say too much now EXCEPT I will have very conflicted feelings about the much fawned-over new Levi's work wear collection and its corresponding ad campaign which somehow manages to irritate me via a San Francisco store front while visually, problematically, using "real people" from the its "poster town" of Pittsburgh. My hometown! Geographical symbolism, class and fashion: a menage a trois of unease! I'm going to unpack some fashion shit on Monday. Stay tuned.
